In a detailed statement on her Instagram, Giorgia Meloni wrote, "My relationship with Andrea Giambruno, which lasted almost ten years, ends here. I thank him for the wonderful years we spent together, for the difficulties we went through, and for giving me the most important thing in my life, which is our daughter Geneva."

Talking about what went wrong between Meloni and her boyfriend Andrea, their relationship came under scanner after Italy's PM's boyfriend's sexist remarks.
For the unversed, Andrea Giambruno, who reportedly hosts the show "Diario del Giorno" on Mediaset, part of the MFE media group, recently came under flak when his off-air excerpts from the program showed him using unparliamentary language and appearing to make advances to a female colleague.
Andrea Giambruno, a TV journalist, in August 2023, was widely slammed for his apparent victim-blaming comments following a gang rape case saying that women could avoid rape by not getting too drunk. Below is what Andrea Giambruno's sexist remarks were-
