Dhanbad: An adolescent girl went to attend a marriage party was allegedly raped by at least 5 people in a village in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand on Saturday. Later, she was declared dead in the hospital.
According to the local police all the 5 accused has been arrested which also includes two minors.
"The marriage party had come from Jamtara district of the state to the village. Some of the wedding guests went to meet their relatives in another part of the village. The victim was a neighbor of their relatives," a police official said.

The police said that at least five people, who were also drunk, enticed the tribal girl to an abandoned place between 9 pm and 10 pm on Friday and raped her.
According to the victim father his daughter came home shambling and fainted after re-counting her torment.
The local police said, “We suspect more than five persons were involved in the crime. We will take the arrested persons to district headquarters (Dhanbad) for interrogation. The body has already been sent for post-mortem at Patliputra Medical College Hospital in Jharkhand's Dhanbad.”
