After a prolonged battle against pancreatic cancer, the Goa CM Manohar Parrikar passed away at the age of 63 in Panaji on Sunday. Mr Parrikar had been under treatment amid his fluctuating health going to hospitals in Delhi, Goa, Mumbai and New York since last year.
Braving the ailment, the four time Goa CM had presented the state budget in January with a tube in his nose. He had also made some public appearances in same manner and was high on Josh as he said in his speech in Goa assembly saying, "Present circumstances have prevented me from delivering a detailed budget speech, but there is a josh that is too high very high and I am in hosh. Fully in hosh".

Mr Parrikar's health was already a matter of concern for BJP as Congress claimed to form a government as the opposition party had one more seat than BJP who had 13 seats and support of MGP party, GFP party and an independent MLA.
Congress had written a letter to the Governor of Goa but BJP leaders after meeting in Goa earlier today maintained that Manohar Parrikar will the leader for BJP.
The entire nation is paying homage to Mr Parrikar posting their wishes for the demised former Defence Minister.
