The stage is all set for the world to witness another iconic edition of the Golden Globe Awards this year which is scheduled to take place on January 10th, for the Indian audience on January 11th.

For this year the event will be streamed LIVE in India. The Golden Globes will felicitate the best in film and American television of 2022, chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).

Apart from the 80th edition on display going LIVE, this edition is even special for Indian fans as SS Rajamouli’s RRR is nominated in two categories.

How can you watch the award show here in India?

The Golden Globe Award will be held on January 10th at 8 PM ET, which will be broadcasted live from The Beverley Hilton in the hills, California on NBC and peacock in the US.

However, Indian viewers can enjoy its LIVE stream beginning at 6.30 PM on January 11 Wednesday on Lionsgate Play. The red carpet presentation will begin at 5.30 AM, for audiences from Malaysia and the Philippines the award show will also stream on the Lionsgate OTT platform.

About the iconic Golden Globe Award Show 2023:

The Golden Globes are organized by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Comedian and actor Jerrod Carmichael will be hosting the awards show. Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Tracy Morgan are presenters at the ceremony.

Special for India:

SS Rajamuli’s directorial RRR has already won the hearts with a grand theatrical run and a huge box-office collection and has entered another terrific ceiling by cruising into the nominations chart of the award show in two categories, which includes, Best Original song for Naatu Naatu and Best Picture - non-English language. The nominations are crucial for the RRR team as this award is considered immensely important for the Academy Awards which is slated to take place in March this year.
