The Aam Aadmi Party government is preparing to start recruitment of 32,000 vacant posts in various departments. A committee will be formed under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar Janjua for this purpose. Senior officials from various departments will be included in this committee.
Committee will prepare a list of vacant posts in the departments. After discussion with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the recruitment procedure will get started. The recruitment will be done in Police, Local bodies, Board corporations, Revenue, Education, Health and Family Welfare, Food and Supply, Transport, PWD, Excise and Taxation departments, etc.

The government has decided to fill all these posts based on regular recruitment only. Earlier, the government has been recruiting various posts on a contract basis, which was opposed by the employees.
