The winter session of the Parliament is to begin today, November 29. Before the session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the government will answer all the questions and the debates would be conducted with the decorum of the proceedings.
“Our Government is ready to answer all questions during the Winter Session of the Parliament. We should debate in the Parliament, and maintain the decorum of the proceedings,” said PM Modi.
In his traditional mark ahead of the new Parliament session, Prime Minister said, “The government is willing to answer every question. We want questions in parliament and also peace. Whatever voices are raised against the government or government policies - the dignity of parliament and the Speaker's Chair should be upheld. We should maintain the sort of conduct that will inspire younger generations”.

“This is an important session of the Parliament. The citizens of the country want a productive session. They are fulfilling their responsibilities for a brighter future,” he further said.
The 25-day Winter Session of Parliament will begin today, with 36 proposals expected to be approved, including one to repeal the agriculture laws. The Bill was forwarded to Rajya Sabha members on Friday for consideration as passed by the Lok Sabha, according to sources.
Prime Minister also warned the nation on the new Covid variant – Omicron, first detected in South Africa. He urged the MPs to be cautious as everyone’s life is a priority during the hour of crisis. “We all should stay alert in view of the new variant of COVID-19,” said PM Modi.
