On Thursday, a grenade blast at a bus stand in a city of Jammu left around 18 people wounded. The details of the blast were not immediately clear.
“It was a grenade explosion, it has caused injuries to approximately 18 people, all shifted to hospital”, said IGP Jammu, MK Sinha. As per reports, injured have been rushed to the Government Medical College for Treatment. Police have reached the site of the blast.
Investigation is still underway.
Jammu is the winter capital of Indian Kashmir where tensions are escalating with Pakistan which claims the region.
