A seriousquestion is being raised over the law and order situation in Punjab after YouthCongress President leader Gurlal Bhalwan was shot dead in broad daylight atJubilee Chowk in Faridkot today.
As per reports,Youth Congress president Gurlal was shot six bullets on his body. It is beingtold that two bike riders fired a total of around 11 rounds on him. Theattackers escaped from the scene. There was chaos in the Chowk area after theattack.
Meanwhile, soonafter the incident grab limelight, top officials of government, congress partyworkers and CM Captain Amarinder Singh expressed shock and offered theircondolences to the family members of Gurlal.
“Have directed DGP Punjab Police to ensure aspeedy investigation and nab the culprits responsible for this heinous act. Theguilty will be severely punished," said Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh.
