Slowly and steadily the Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Government's foul play is coming into the limelight. After the report of 'Operation Arnab', Hansa Research Group has moved to the Bombay High Court and it alleged that the Mumbai Police is harassing its employees and the organization to release a false statement against Republic TV.

Going by the reports of Bar and Bench, Hansa Research Group has approached the Bombay High Court seeking transfer of the probe into the TRP scam from the Mumbai Police Crime Branch to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

As per Hansa, the Mumbai Crime Branch officers are harassing its employees to make false statements to suit the designs of the Crime Branch. Hansa in its plea has alleged that the Mumbai Crime Branch is pressurizing the organization to release a false statement that will disown the FIR floated by Republic TV. As per Hansa, the Mumbai Crime Branch officers have pressurized to issue a statement that document flashed as Hansa Report by Republic TV is a fake one.

Republic TV had accessed the Hansa report which was the base of TRP Scam case against Goswami and his channel. However, Hansa report never cited Republic in the TRP Scam case.
