There used to be an empire, ruled by father of a sweet little princess, named Alora. When she came into this world, her father celebrated across his empire with pomp and show. When she grew older learnt to feel the world, emotions and the laws of nature, started to gift her dad some presents but he always kept those presents in his treasury along with gold bricks. Every year the king used to celebrate his birthday as the most ostentatious ceremony.
As time flew away, he turned 40 and decided to unwrap all the presents with Alora. He told her that he kept her presents but never unveiled them. When he unwrapped the boxes, he was astonished with all boxes empty. He called his daughter for a rendezvous with his ministry. He asked her, is that a joke!!! Where you gifted the great emperor with empty boxes whereas others gifted wealth. She replied with a smile on her face, “Dad I filled all those boxes with kisses, I think kisses flew away”.
That was the moment of happiness for the stone hearted emperor, made him learnt that happiness is not materialistic.
There is no path to happiness but happiness is the path. Its not given or taken its just shared with your loved ones. A self-obsessed personality can’t be happy but a selfless will. Once a man asked Lord Buddha” I want happiness”, he replied “remove” I” that your ego, now remove “want” that your desire and now you are all left with “happiness”. Even the poorest ones when have a meal they feel happy and wealthiest ones even after having the most expensive meals feels miserable, that the feeling.
A soldier in a warzone dies with pride and feel happy for his motherland. Its that emotional, physical and spiritual state when you can say I want nothing else. Its not the absence of problems, but the ability to deal with it and rise above.

A truly happy soul, enjoys the present without anxious worries from future, shares it sans feelings, work for it sans desires, just cultivates it. The moment when a person realises that what the motive of him or her in this world, at that moment happiness is what strikes the heart. More you cultivate more you enjoy. Its not by the circumstance its in ourselves, fire can bring warmth for someone but destruction for other its just the mater how a soul perceives it…..
