Power Minister Harbhajan Singh clarifies the conditions of free electricity which will be provided to all the categories from 1 July. He said that If an SC is an owner of 200-250 crores then he will be a taxpayer. And if the taxpayer uses 601 units, then he will have to pay 601, even if he is from the SC category.
He further said that those who have a connection of 1 kilowatt belong to SC, BC, Freedom Fighters, and BPL families if their bill is more than 600, then they will have to pay only for the additional unit.
He said that even if a person from the SC category has a connection of more than Kilowatt, he will have to pay the whole bill. It was the same during the previous government. A normal household with a 1 Kilowatt will get the free electricity of 300 units per month.

He said that there is no discrimination with the general category. Rather their government is giving the general category the same advantages. Earlier no government has taken such steps. The Aam Aadmi Party has kept the general category under the ambit of free electricity.
