Due to his inability to bowl in recent months, concerns have been raised regarding the 28-year-status old's in the starting XI. India is in a must-win position following their loss to Pakistan on Sunday, and and missed Hardik's bowling abilities in the 10-wicket defeat.

Pandya scored 11 runs off eight deliveries as India reached 151 for seven in 20 overs against Pakistan.
Pakistan achieved 152 for no loss in 17.5 overs, chasing a goal of 152 runs, with openers Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam hammering undefeated half-centuries.
Rizwan blasted 79 off 55 balls, while Azam crushed 68 off 52 balls.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, and Varun Chakaravarthy were among the Indian bowlers who failed to get beyond the opening combination, allowing 25, 43, and 33 runs respectively.
