Haryana Elections 2024 Results: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is displaying a major tunraround and proving most of the exit polls wrong after the Election Commission of India released early trends. As per ECI's early trends on Haryana Elections 2024 Results, BJP is leading on 49 seats, on the other hands, Congress is leading on 35 seats. It was expected that the Congress party will sweep Haryana Elections 2024, however, ECI trends unraveled a totally contrasting story. Notably, counting for 90 constituencies of Haryana is underway.
Reacting to this, Congress leader Supriya Shrinate said while talking to a newswire, "This picture will change soon. We will have good news from Haryana...I have been checking EC website. The data is not changing on the website. Our vote share is way ahead of that of the BJP. This will convert into seats..."
On the other hand, BJP National spokesperson, Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi said, "The trends are in a positive direction. We are confident that this positive trend will convert into a historic mandate for BJP in Haryana....In J&K, the festival of democracy was celebrated with enthusiasm, the public will give a decisive and historic decision, and BJP's performance will be its best till now."
Notably, if BJP wins Haryana Elections 2024, it will the first time a poltical party will come to power for the first time in the history of the state.
