Haryana Elections 2024 results: India's richest woman Savitri Jindal is displaying a strong performance in the Haryana Elections 2024. Savitri Jindal who is an independent candidate contested Haryana Elections 2024 from Hisar seat. As per ECI, India's richest woman Savitri Jindal is leading by 3836 votes while Congress candidate Ram Niwas Rara is trailing. It is pertinen to mention here that Savitri Jindal announced to fight Haryana Elections 2024 as an independent candidate after BJP did not field her from Hisar. Savitri Jindal parted ways from BJP.
Announcing herself as an independent candidate, Savitri Jindal then said, "Hisar is my family, and if the people of Hisar wish for me to contest the election, I will run from Hisar according to their wishes. This will also be my last election, and I want to complete any remaining development work for the people."
As per reports, Jindal further said, "I am not a primary member of BJP. I came back from Delhi to speak about not contesting the election, but seeing your love and trust, I will contest the election." Savitri is the mother of famous industrialist and BJP MP from Kurukshetra Naveen Jindal. She is contesting against BJP minister Dr. Kamal Gupta in Hisar seat.
