Haryana IAS Rani Nagar decides to resign after lockdown, announced decision via facebook post

Rani Nagar, a 2014 cadre IAS from Haryana on Thursday has decided to resign from her post after the lockdown opens. Ever since she started her career, it has been filled with controversies.

IAS Nagar has announced her decision by posting a video from her Facebook account in which she can be heard saying that someone has posed a threat to her life.

Rani Nagar is a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad and has been posted as Additional Director in the Social Security Department. She in her video revealed that currently, she is staying in the UT guest house in Chandigarh amid curfew.

For this reason, Nagar and her sister Reema Nagar cannot leave Chandigarh. The road from Chandigarh to Ghaziabad has also been closed. After the lockdown and curfew open, I will resign from my post and will move to Ghaziabad. 

I have filed a case against the Chandigarh Police, if anything happens to me, this video should be filed in my case.

Rani Nagar also accused an IAS of his misconduct and misbehaviour during the year 2018. The matter was also heard by the Chief Minister's court. She had also accused a cab driver of indecency. 

While she was posted as SDM in Dabwali region of Sirsa district, she possessed threat to her life.
