Veer Davinder Singh, the man who fed 'Heartattack Wale Parathey' to the famous comedian Kapil Sharma in Model Town, Jalandhar has been arrested by the Jalandhar Police. A case has been filed against Veer Davinder Singh for defying the Deputy Commissioner's orders and subsequently arrested him, though he was later released on bail. In response, Singh has accused the personnel at Police Station-6 of assaulting him.
Allegedly, Police Station-6 has lodged an FIR against Veer Davinder Singh, invoking Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code. The case asserts that Veer Davinder violated the Deputy Commissioner's orders by operating his stall and selling parathas late at night.
During a late Saturday press conference, Veer Davinder claimed that SHO Ajaib Singh and his team physically assaulted and mistreated him by confining him in a closed room. Veer Davinder stated that this action was taken against him after Kapil Sharma's photo with him went viral.
In response, SHO Ajaib Singh Aujla of Police Station-6 stated that local residents had complained about the sale of parathas at the location until 2 a.m., resulting in a dirty environment. Despite higher officials previously addressing this issue with Veer Davinder, he allegedly did not comply, leading to the registration of a case. Regarding the assault allegations, SHO Ajaib Singh Aujla denied any mistreatment at the police station, labeling all accusations as false.
Comedian Kapil Sharma had visited Jalandhar, Punjab, with his wife Ginni Chatrath Sharma and savoured the renowned heart attack desi ghee parathas of Model Town. During his visit, he took photographs with Veer Davinder and others. Kapil, who traveled from Mumbai to Jalandhar, expressed his desire to eat parathas with Veer Davinder after watching a viral video of the heart attack-inducing parathas on social media.

Some videos of his parathas went viral on social media, leading to his reputation as the creator of the heart attack parathas in Punjab.
