It is quite rare that parents and their kids are seen working in the same field. One such heartwarming viral photo that is winning the internet shows a Deputy Superintendent of police saluting her father who is Deputy Inspector General in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
In the photo the young woman Apeksha Nimbadia who was recently appointed as the DSP UP police saluting her father APS Nimbadia who serves as a DIG in the ITBP. The proud father is seen returning back the salutation.
Describing the image, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) wrote: “Proud father getting salute from the proud daughter."
"Apeksha Nimbadia, PPS (Dy SP, UP Police) passed out from Dr BR Academy, UP Police, Moradabad. Father- APS Nimbadia, DIG ITBP (A 3rd gen officer in Uniform) & mother- Bimlesh Nimbadia blessed Apeksha at the Parade," ITBP added.

The moment was beautifully captured after Apeksha participated in her graduation parade. She graduated from Dr BR Ambedkar Police Academy in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh and is going viral on the internet.
Ms Nimbadia will soon join the Uttar Pradesh police as Deputy Superintendent of Police and serving in the police force runs in the family as Ms Nimbadia is the “third-generation officer in uniform”.
ITBP - the nations main border patrol organisation for its border with Tibet on its Instagram account shared two more photos of Apeksha Nimbadia with her mother Bimlesh Nimbadia who also attended the ceremony. While in the last frame shows the father-daughter duo standing next to each other smiling at the camera.
The photographs have got over 17,000 likes on social media and users have shared their excitement by posting a bunch of stars, hearts and clap emojis.

The ITBP is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) of India, that was established in 1962 in wake of the Sino-Indian War.
Another similar photo from Andhra Pradesh had surfaced online in January. In the image, Circle Inspector Y Shyam Sundar was seen saluting his daughter Yendluru Jessy Prasanthi, who was appointed as the DSP, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. Jessy had then said that she met her father for the first time on duty ever since she joined the department.
“This is the first time that we met on duty. I wasn’t very comfortable with him saluting me, after all, he’s my father. I asked him not to salute me, but it happened. I also returned the salute,” Jessy had said.
