Commentators & players were left in a split after Rohit Sharma in his typical Mumbai slang scolded young Sarfaraz Khan saying 'Aye, hero nai banne ka (hey, don't be a hero here)'. Sarfaraz Khan was trying to field at the short silly point without wearing a helmet when England were defending the balls. Seeing this, Rohit Sharma came forward and asked Sarfaraz Khan to wear the helmet. Also, umpires were heard saying that he could not field close to the batter without wearing a helmet. Finally, a helmet was brought to the field and Sarfaraz resumed his fielding after wearing it. Even commentator Dinesh Karthik could not control his laughter and explained what actually happened between Rohit Sharma and Sarfaraz Khan.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sarfaraz Khan's father Naushad Khan had asked Rohit Sharma to take care of his son. Therefore, it can be said that Rohit Sharma acted as a big brother and scolded Sarfaraz to wear a helmet.
