In tragic news today, a husband and wife were killed in a road accident in Dehra, district Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. According to reports, a speeding truck violently hit the car, completely destroying it and killing the two. Their 14-year-old niece was travelling along with them and was injured. She has been admitted to the hospital.
According to the information, a couple and their 14 year old niece were going somewhere in the i20 car. The incident took place on NH 503 (Lower Sunhet along the Beas river bridge) in front of the residence of DSP Dehra in Dehra, district Kangra. The husband and wife died on the spot in the accident. While the 14 year old niece was injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. The deceased couple were residents of Gummar village adjacent to Jwalaji.
The collision was so severe that the car was shattered into pieces and the couple died on the spot, while the child was injured. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot, took possession of the dead bodies and started investigating the case.
