Himanshi Khurana groves to Pathaan's 'Besharam Rang' song amidst 'Saffron Bikni' row; Watch

Punjabi actress Himanshi Khurana on Friday took to her Instagram handle and danced to the upcoming movie Pathaan's new song Besharam Rang. Besharam Rang is the first song released by the makers of Pathaan. For the unversed, Pathaan is an upcoming thriller featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and more. Himanshi Khurana Besharam Rang dance video comes at a time when Pathaan's new song is becoming an epicenter of multiple controversies and most prevalent one being 'Saffron Bikini'.

Himanshi Khurana shared her dance video on Friday in which she can be seen grooving to Deepika Padukone's song. As soon as Himanshi shared the video, it went viral in no time and her fans started showering their love in her comment section. In fact, Yash Raj Films (YRF) under which Pathaan has been made also shared the Punjabi actress video and gave a shout-out to her.

Besharam Rang controversy

After Besharam Rang was released, many users took to Twitter and expressed their anger over the song. A user on Twitter shared a snip from the song and highlighted that Deepika Padukone is wearing a saffron colour bikini and the song's name is Besharam Rang. A few other fans found the song 'obscene in nature' and outlined how Uorfi Javed is facing a Police complaint under similar context.

The Besharam Rang controversy turned big after Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra expressed his anger over the use of saffron costume in the song. He emphatically said that ‘Pathaan’ would not be released in the state if certain shots were not replaced. He pointed out actress Deepika Padukone is a sympathiser of the ‘Tukde Tukde’ gang and that he found her appearance “extremely objectionable”.
