Subodh Bhati, a Delhi cricketer, made history on Sunday by being the first Indian batsman to hit a double-hundred in a Twenty20 match.
Bhatti achieved the milestone while playing for Delhi XI in a club T20 event.Subodh Bhati opened the innings in the game against Simba and went on to score 205 runs in just 79 deliveries.
Bhati's first 102 runs came in just 17 deliveries.

When it comes to T20 cricket, West Indian swashbuckler Chris Gayle owns the record for the greatest individual score. Gayle achieved the feat against the now-defunct Pune Warriors in the 2013 IPL, when he hit an almost implausible 175 not-out in just 66 deliveries.
Aaron Finch, the Australian limited-overs captain, holds the record for the greatest individual score by a batsman in international cricket.
During the 2018 T20I tri-series, Finch completed the feat against Zimbabwe, with Pakistan as the third team. Finch smacked 172 off 76 deliveries, including 16 fours and ten monster sixes.
Subodh Bhati, a 30-year-old cricketer, has played for Delhi in eight First-Class, 24 List-A, and 39 T20 matches, scoring 147, 132, and 120 runs respectively. In FC, List A, and T20 cricket, he has taken 19, 37, and 47 wickets, respectively.
