In an interview with True Scoop News, Kashvi shared more about her personal life and gave an insight during her shooting days for Citadel: Honey Bunny. Below is an excerpt from the interview.
'It all started at IIFA 2022'
On being asked how she landed 'little' Nadia's role in Honey Bunny, Kashvi Majmundar said, "I guess it all started when I performed in IIFA 2022. I think that's where everyone spotted me or saw me. That's when it actually happened. It was basically when I met Mukesh Chhabra Sir for the first time. We were having a normal chat. From nowhere he said to take the audition. I had no idea what he meant. I was only 7 then. I had no idea what an audition was. The addition I did for Citadel: Hunny Bunny, it was my first audition. I had no idea what to do or what not to do. His team members gave me a script to memorise. So, I guess that is where it all started. "
Kashvi Majmundar's family
On being asked about the role of her mother in her acting and social media career, Kashvi Majmundar said, "She is a really good mom I would say. She manages my social media and manages most of my stuff. I think it's because of her where I am. She has been really great."
Notably, Kashvi Majmundar and her family live in Dubai. However, Kashvi revealed that her family natively belongs to Gujarat.
"We are all originally from Ahmedabad. My father is from Ahmedabad but he was born in Baroda. My mother is a Gujarati as well. My mother manages everything. My father is very good in managing my brother. I have a little brother. He is also very supportive of me as well. He was also there during some of the schedules of the shooting," said Kashvi Majmundar.
'Samantha encouraged me, best connection with Raj & DK'
On being asked how Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu helped her in terms of acting, Kashvi said, "In some of the scenes, Samantha (di) was encouraging me. Like improvising, how to do it, the way they want. More of it was from the Directors. Raj & DK sir were really helpful and supportive. From the first day itself till the last day, they loved me, I loved them. I guess they are gonna be my favourite."
'Made the best bond with Raj & DK Sir'
Kashvi further said, "I think it was with Saqib Saleem (Bhaiya). Even though I did not have any scenes with him but yes, I did get a chance to meet him on shoot days. Saqib Bhaiya (Saqib Saleem) was there, even Varun bhaiya (Varun Dhawan) was really nice to me. He was really talkative, he was really fun to be around. He was encouraging and nice as well. Raj & DK sir were also very nice to me. I made the best bond with them (Raj & DK). Kashvi also revealed that she bonded well with Nakul (Arman Khera) and V uncle (Shashank Vyas). Post-release of Honey Bunny she has formed a good bond with Soham Majumdar too.
Kashvi Majmundar's 'unforgettable' roof climbing scene
On being asked about her unforgettable memory from the set of Citadel, Kashvi Majmundar said, "There are many, I can't say one. One of the most special ones was when I did roof climbing. If you have seen the show, you must have seen where I did the roof climbing. It was a really exciting one for me. It was adventurous. So, it was really a special memory that will be with me. It was a two-story house. So, it was challenging but it was fun."
'Want to become an actor'
Kashvi Majmundar on her future goals said, "I want to keep pursuing acting. Being an actor has many benefits. You get to influence different people. You can contribute to so many stuff like charity and all. I also have a passion for acting and I enjoy it as well. So, I want to be an actor when I grow up. There is a brand in the USA. It's cause for mental health which I am ambassador of. So, I think there are many things you can do when you become an actor."
How does Kashvi manage her studies along with acting?
Kashvi Majmundar said, "I am not that regular I would say. Now, I have become a bit lazy (for her social media and acting). Even during my shoots, I had my study materials. I am the topper in my class, I am really good. So, I am well enough to manage everything. I love my school. I am currently in Emirates International School Jumeirah."
Kashvi Majmundar's future lineups
On being asked about her future projects, Kashvi Majmundar said, "Offers are coming but we are not really sure. Hopefully, in the future many more to go. For now, I am gonna be more at school because I don't wanna miss my studies."
