The data released by Election Commission of India shows BJP leading on 238 seats which is quite less than 303 seats that it won in 2019. Based on the counting, there are chances that NDA might end up below 300 seats. If it happens, then it would be the first time after 10 years that in actual NDA government will be formed. The biggest parties in NDA alliance includes Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal and Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
A few months before Lok Sabha Election, Nitish Kumar joined NDA alliance and also visited Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There are chances that both Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu will likely get back to INDIA. A few days back, Congress stated that after election they would try to get Nitish Kumar back in their alliance. As per sources, Janata Dal United’s members also want Nitish Kumar to get back to INDIA however, he is not in the same mood. NDA has not performed that bad in Bihar.
Talking about Chandrababu Naidu, he is also likely to return to INDIA after election results. He has contested Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha Elections from BJP’s side. He is likely to form government in Andhra Pradesh. This time, as per data 131 MLAs have won from his party. Chandrababu Naidu was earlier with Congress and fought elections of 2019. This time if NDA forms government, then Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu will act in the party as per their own terms and conditions. There are also chances, the both will pressurize NDA to change the party convener. Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal and Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party (TDP) are likely to recommend NDA to offer their party members important ministries as well.
Another name that is coming up is Ram Vilas Paswan’s son Chirag Paswan has won 5 seats in Bihar. This time not all ministers in government will be from BJP. Last time when Modi took oath as the Prime Minster of India second time, Nitish Kumar told Janata Dal MPs not to take oath. This happened because he was not given any ministry even after the recommendation. However, this time situation will not remain same other wise parties are likely to change the alliance. It seems like PM Modi will face various struggles if NDA is able to make government.
