The Punjabis are all set to welcome the New Year 2025 along with their beloved singer & actor Diljit Dosanjh. Diljit Dosanjh will conclude his Dil-Luminati Concert in Ludhiana on New Year's Eve i.e. on December 31, 2024. Ludhiana Police have already started to review the security at the concert venue. Ludhiana Police Commissioner Kuldeep Chahal on Wednesday visited the PAU Ground as well. However, during the ticket sale, Zomato Live did not specify Diljit's concert venue in Ludhiana. Ludhiana DC had confirmed to True Scoop that Diljit's New Year Eve's show will take place at PAU Foot Ground.
Now, the official announcement has also been made over Diljit's Ludhiana concert venue. The district administration of Ludhiana has granted permission to the organisers. Interestingly, the official release also mention the breakdown of total money the organisers have to pay for Ciljit's concert at the PAU ground.
As per the official notification, organisers have to pay a total of Rs 20,65,000. Below is a breakdown of the amount-
- Rent of Installation December 25 to 30- Rs 1,50,000/day (for 6 days) = Rs 9,00,000
- Event Period- December 31 (1 Day)= Rs 2,50,000
- Dismantling Period- January 1 to January 3- Rs 4,50,000
- Parking Charges on December 31- Rs 1,50,00
- Total- Rs 17,50,000
- GST- 18%
- Grand Amount- Rs 20, 65,000
- Refundable Security- Rs 3,00, 000
Ludhiana CP shares security plan for Punjabi singer's show at PAU
Addressing the media, Ludiana CP Chahal on Wednesday said that approximately 2,000 police personnel will be deployed during Diljit Dosanjh’s concert at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). The Commissioner revealed that an estimated 40,000 people are expected to attend the event.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and requested the public to cooperate, ensuring that no disruptive activities occurred during the concert. Highlighting the festive spirit of the New Year celebrations, he expressed confidence in the public’s responsible behavior, ensuring the event proceeds smoothly and safely. Furthermore, CP Kuldeep Chahal clarified that the Police administration will issue an advisory in the next two days.
