In the video, the IFS officers had shared scenes from the Gahirmatha beach in Kendrapara, which is one of the world's largest rookeries of the endangered species.
IFS officer Parween Kasvan shared another adorable video of the newborn turtles coming out of their nests. He shared the clip with the caption, "First steps of life. Crores of Olive Ridley turtle babies are appearing at coasts and running to the ocean. After 40-45 days, when lakhs of turtles laid their eggs in a group. Fascinating is that these will come back to lay their eggs here only. Hope sites will be fine then."(sic)
The clip shows tiny baby turtles coming out of the nests and making their way to explore the sea. He also shared an interesting fact with his followers which read that these baby turtles will come back to the same beach to lay their eggs.
