IAS Officer Lakshya Singhal, District Magistrate of South West Delhi, has come under the scanner of social media after an unverified clip went viral that showed him folding hands & offering his official chair to a priest. In the viral IAS Lakshya Singhal video, the District Magistrate was seen warmly welcoming the priest with both of his hands folded. He is also seen giving a shawl to the priest and making him sit on the District Magistrate's official chair.
Notably, Lakshya Singhal's viral video has garnered mixed reactions on social media. Many believe that Lakshya Singhal should be warned as the matter is not too much serious. Notably, in the viral Lakshya Singhal video, the music hints that the priest might be the IAS Officer's guru (Teacher). However, Lakshya Singhal's video has not been verified yet.
Reportedly, the Delhi government and the Lt Governor's office are yet to confirm if they have taken note of the viral video. For the unversed, Lakshya Singhal is an IAS officer belonging to the 2019 batch of the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre. The authenticity of the video has also not been verified and it is yet to be known when the video was shot.
