With help of some fine performance from both bat and ball in Mohali against Sri Lanka, Ravindra Jadeja has became the new No. 1 allrounder in the test cricket.
Jadeja scored 175 not out and took 9 wickets, that helped India to an innings victory over Sri Lanka. Jadeja displaced West Indies Jason Holder to become number 1 test all rounder. Jason had held the top spot since February 2021.
Jadeja has now reached the summit of test allrounder rankings for the second time. In August 2017, Jadeja was crowned for the position for the first time. He had held the position for a week then.

Meanwhile Virat kohli, who scored 45 runs in his 100th test, has moved two spots up on the batting ranks to 5th spot. Rishab Pant who played an entertaining inning of 96 from 97 balls has also moved up one spot, to broke into top ten.
