An ice cream vendor was knocked off his Activa under the Dhandari bridge and robbed at gunpoint by two individuals on a bike

In latest news from Ludhiana’s crime stories, an Ice cream business man was robbed and stabbed in his midsection while travelling on the Ludhiana Highway under the Thandari bridge. Mohammad Ajjar Aalam who makes his living selling ice cream was driving his Activa along the Ludhiana Highway when miscreants on bikes crashed into him causing hime to fall, stabbed him when he was on the ground and robbed him of 4500 INR while threatening him with a firearm.

Mohammad Ajjar Aalam was returning from a function where he was providing his services i.e. selling ice cream and carrying some it along with him when he was suddenly jumped by multiple individuals riding a bike under the Thandari bridge on the Ludhiana highway, who caused him to fall off his bike. As he fell off his bike, he was stabbed in his midsection and claims that bandits robbed him of 4500 INR while threatening him with a pistol.

The victim then ran off towards the Grand Trunk Road (G.T. road) in order to save his life and ask for help. He managed to escape the bandits who reportedly fled the scene after seeing a crowd of witnesses starting to emerge at the scene of the crime. Mohammad managed to call his acquaintances who promptly had him admitted into the local hospital for treatment of his wounds. He arrived at the hospital bleeding profusely from his waist where he was stabbed by the miscreants.

He claims that the individuals were carrying a knife and a pistol which they used to nab the 4500 INR he had in his pockets. Focal point Police Station SHO Amandeep Singh informs that a police investigation has been launched and the area around the Dhandari bridge is being thoroughly searched.
