IIFA Awards 2025 OTT Streaming

IIFA (International Indian Film Academy Awards) 2025 will not be streaming live. It means that while the main event of IIFA 2025 will be on March 9, i.e., on Sunday, its online or TV streaming will take place later. For instance, IIFA 2024 is available for streaming on Zee5. It means that if the organisers decide to go on a similar route, the mega night will be streaming on OTT only after the official release date will be announced. Last year, the event was organised in Abu Dhabi.

For those who want to watch the event live, the tickets for IIFA 2025 are available on the official website of the awards. Additionally, you can also grab a seat using the District app by Zomato. The IIFA ticket prices start at Rs 3,000 and go up to Rs 1.5 lakh.

What is IIFA?

The full form of IIFA is International Indian Film Academy Awards. This award is given to artists associated with Indian films. That is, not only Bollywood but South films are also awarded in this. This award is given in various categories related to films, ranging from music, story, director, and actors.

It was created by a company named Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. This company is an international event management company. Fans of the Indian film industry vote in it through online voting. Awards are given in different categories after the worldwide poll.

IIFA was first started in London, England, in the year 2000. Since then, it has been organized in many different countries.

IIFA has been organized in different cities of 17 different countries since its inception. These include countries like South Africa's Sun City and Johannesburg, Singapore, Netherlands, Dubai, UK, Thailand, Macau, Sri Lanka, Canada, China, USA, Malaysia, Spain, Abu Dhabi, and Thailand.

It is amazing that the awards created for the Indian film industry have been held in India only once so far. The year 2019 was the only year when it was organized in Mumbai. However, after this, it was postponed in 2020-21 due to the coronavirus pandemic. After being held in Abu Dhabi last year, this time it is being organized in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This means that this will be the second time that the IIFA Awards have been organized in a city of India.
