On Thursday, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has planned to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) on 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th February 2022. As per the recent statements, it is stated that 2 papers will be conducted, and the subjects for each of them are GE (Geomatics Engineering) and NM (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering).
“The two new papers will provide direct benefits to our graduates in these two areas, especially when the country needs human resources with advanced capabilities in shipbuilding industries and geo-informatics. Further, the GATE is fast acquiring a brand value and foreign universities are also utilizing the scores for their admission,” said VK Tewari, Director of IIT-Kharagpur in the press conference.

GATE 2022 examination. The mode of examination will be online i.e. computer-based. The duration of the exam conduction will be 1 hour 30 minutes. The numbers
of centers allocated for the GATE 2022 exam conduction are 195.
