Pakistan PM Imran Khan has once again given a statement against Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a poll rally in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and described himself as the “brand ambassador” of Kashmiris on all international forums.
Imran Khan’s address came amid the upcoming elections in PoK scheduled on July 25, 2021.
PM Imran Khan addressed the first election-related rally in PoK’s Bagh area and called the ideology of RSS and BJP dangerous for India. While addressing he said, “BJP and RSS ideology posed the biggest threat to India itself because the ideology did not target the Muslims alone, but also the Sikhs, Christians and Scheduled Caste, whom it did not consider as equal citizens.”

He also criticized India Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the declaration of Article 370, and claimed it ‘atrocities.’ He said, “Pakistan stands with the Kashmiris in their just struggle” and continued the address by calling himself ‘brand ambassador’ of Kashmiris on all international forum.
Pakistan PM said that he would keep on taking the issues of Kashmiris across the globe as their “ambassador and advocate,” quoting from the Quran.
This attack on India and PM Modi came a few days after Imran Khan has evaded questions on Pakistan’s role in the clash between the Taliban and Afghanistan security forces.
During the speech, Khan lauded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s economic models and “humanity first approach” adopted by the Chinese government, amid the loans and poor economic records.

In June this year, Imran Khan said that if the neighboring country (India) is ready to restore the old situation in Kashmir, then Pakistan is ready to talk. He further said that India should tell Pakistan that what steps it would take to withdraw the decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. He added that India is violating international law and UN Security Council rules by abolishing Kashmir’s special status.
