Avantika Malik shared a strange quote on her Instagram story, stressing on the importance of "walking away", amid rumors of divorce with her husband, actor Imran Khan. But she deleted the post soon after. Reports of trouble in Avantika and Imran's paradise surfaced in June and several quarters insisted that the couple might file for divorce soon.
Neither Avantika nor Imran confirmed reports so far while her mother Vandana Malik had rubbished rumors of their divorce while speaking to a website previously. More on that later. In Avantika's post, she quoted American musician Morgan Harper Nichols and captioned it: "Needed to see this today."
"Sometimes, you have to walk away. You have to look at the things you're giving energy to and realize that even though you could stay, and try to win their approval or try to make it up their ladder, you could also make the brave choice to take whatever energy you have left to a space that welcomes you," an excerpt from the quote reads, that also ends with a significant line: "You may still need to walk away, trusting there is so much more ahead of you."
Imran Khan and Avantika Malik married in 2011. Their first child together, daughter Imara, was born in 2014.
