Sukhbir Badal’s rally in Moga on Thursday witnessed massive chaos after a small argument between farmers and police turned into a clash. The farmers held a protest and on the other hand, the police were trying to stop them from crossing the barricades.

After farmers tried to cross the barricades in order to express their resentment against Sukhbir's event, the atmosphere got heated and the protesters started pelting bricks and stones at the police, as reply police personnel were also seen using water cannons, and did lathi charge on the protesters to control the situation.

During this brawl, around six people were injured (including farmers and police personnel) and as many as vehicles were damaged.

However, despite the clash that broke out at the event, Sukhbir Badal on his twitter wrote, "I’m humbled by the massive response to the @Akali_Dal_'s #GallPunjabDi campaign at Moga Dana Mandi rally. Pleased to announce the candidature of former Pb Health System Corporation Chairman Barjinder Singh Makhan Brar from this seat amidst thousands of Akali workers & supporters".
