In an absolute shocker, a child was brutally beaten by the landlord. The incident reported is from Moranwali village of Malerkotla, Punjab. A video of the incident has gone viral after which a probe was initiated against the landlord.
Reportedly, a video from Malerkotla has viral where a juvenile was beaten to death with sticks by a landlord in the fields. As per information, the victim was playing with his friends when one child threw his slippers in the fields nearby. When the child went to pick them up, he was caught by the landlord and thrashed brutally with sticks. A video of the same also went viral.
On getting beaten up, the child shouted and cried for help. On hearing this, his grandmother reached there and pleaded the landlord to let go of the victim but he kept on beating him.
Post getting viral, the matter reached to SC Commission as the victim beaten was a scheduled cast. After this, a complaint was registered against the landlord and the accused was arrested by Malerkotla police. The accused has been identified as Gurbir Singh. Reportedly, the child was between the age group of 13-15 years and suffered various injuries because of the gruesome incident.
