New Zealand defeated India by 8 wickets in the fourth ODI of the ongoing series. Chasing 92, New Zealand lost two wickets but the target was too small to daunt the Kiwi chase.

Ross Taylor scored a quickfire 37 and Henry Nichols scored a patient 30 off 42 balls.

Earlier in the day, Indian batsmen never got going in the absence of skipper Virat Kohli. Trent Boult and Colin De Grandhomme wreaked havoc on Indian batsmen sharing 8 wickets among each other.

Young batsman Shubhman Gill made his debut but couldn't make the most of it getting out on a single digit score.
