Along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh, both India and China have called back some troops. It has been seen as a progressive move by the experts.
China has de-inducted around 10,000 soldiers while India has followed the suit, as per the sources in the Ministry of Defence.
However, it has been said that the situation on the contentious Pangong Tso, Chusul, Gogra Hotsprings and Depsang Plains remains stiff and grim despite temperature dropping further to -30 degrees Celsius.
