With tension continuing on the border with India, China continues to prove itself better by using propaganda. To combat China’s army, the Indian Army has made great preparations to defeat China’s move. The Indian Army has picked China's war manual and deployed a 'Tunnel Defense' in Ladakh to thwart any move by the dragon.
According to a report by the Hindustan Times, the Chinese military used this tactic in the second war against Japan.
A report by PLA claimed that PLA has built tunnels to deploy aircraft at Lhasa airbase and underground arrangements have been made on Hainan island for storing nuclear ballistic submarines in the South China Sea.
According to senior military commanders, the Indian Army has placed large-diameter Hume concrete pipes in the tunnel to protect the Indian troops from any attack from the enemy and also to strike back in the event of trouble.
Why are these Hume pipes?
The diameters of Hume reinforced concrete pipes are 6 to 8 feet and through them, the soldiers can reach the underground from one location to another. With this, soldiers get a chance to avoid enemy firing. The advantage of this tunnel is that they can be heated and soldiers can take shelter in cold places to avoid snowstorms.
