The Railway Department has launched two new trains to manage the increased number of passengers/ devotees to the Radha Soami Satsang Dera Beas in Punjab. The two trains will offer special transportation services to the people who want to visit Beas.
One of the two trains will be Saharsa to Amritsar Festival Station Train and the other train is unreserved special train which will connect Beas to Jalandhar City.
The Saharsa to Amritsar Train
Train No. 05507 and 05508
The 05507 train will leave Saharsa Junction at 7 pm and will arrive at Amritsar Railway Station at 2:20 pm (the next day). The 05508 train will be a return train between Amritsar and Saharsa, starting its journey at 4 am and arriving at Saharsa at 11:45 am (the next day).
The total duration of the journey is around 31 hours 20 minutes, and there are around 20 stops throughout the journey, covering approximately 1593 kilometers. The train runs seven days a week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The stoppages covered by these trains will be Beas, Jalandhar City, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Chapra, Hajipur, Samastipur, Barauni, Begusarai.
Jalandhar City to Beas - the local train

Recently, the Indian Railways introduced a local train that will run between Jalandhar City and Beas, stopping at four junctions - Dhilwan, Hamira, Kartarpur, and Suranussi. This special train will be running on three days: March 16 (Sunday), March 23 (Sunday), and March 30 (Sunday).
The train journey will start from Beas at 12:50 pm, ending in Jalandhar at 1:35 pm. The total journey covered is 40 minutes.
