With support from the Joint Forum of Industries and Traders, the Vyapari Ekta Manch organized a complete shutdown of the industrial area 2 on September 12. Traders stood in front of their luxury cars, begging for the repeal of the violation and misuse notices issued by the administration. The traders claim that for the past 15 years, they have been receiving these notices, despite having only made need-based changes to their units. They argue that they are not the only ones in the city to make such changes; need-based alterations have been made throughout the city. It is noteworthy that the traders have the support of all city business, trade, and resident associations.

On September 13, at 10:00 AM, traders will leave the industrial area in their cars and tour markets across the city before heading to the offices of administrative officials. There, they will demand the cancellation of the notices in lieu of alms, If their demands are not heard, they will symbolically hand over the keys to their businesses to the authorities.
