Sangha's father, Joga Singh, who was a truck driver, originally hailed from a village near Jalandhar, Punjab. Tanveer Sangha's family moved from Jalandhar, Punjab, in the 1990s. The Australian cricketer's mother is an accountant, and his father, who traveled to Australia for school, is a truck driver. Tanveer also has a sister. Tanveer was also part of the Australian team during the 2023 Cricket World Cup that took place in India. Notably, Tanveer Sangha has become only the 4th player, along with Gurinder Sandhu, Stuart Clark, and Bransby Cooper, to play for Australia despite being of Indian descent.

Rohit Sharma & Co will look to avenge their Cricket World Cup 2023 final defeat from Australia when it will step out on the field in Dubai. It will be interesting to see whether skipper Rohit Sharma will continue to keep Varun Chakravarthy in the playing XI in place of Harshit Rana. Courtesy of Varun's five-wicket hall, India defeated the high-on-confidence New Zealand in a low-scoring match.

On the other hand, Australia, under the captaincy of Steve Smith, has played well in the tournament despite the absence of its pace battery- Pat Cummins, Mitchel Starc, and Josh Hazelwood.
