On Friday, Amazon Prime Video released the latest season of Inside Edge- Inside Edge 3. The Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani production lays bare the nasty underbelly of the cricket industry, and it was one of the first web series to catch the attention of Indian audiences. The show ventured to bring out the dark side of the game that is one half of India's twin obsessions, from match-fixing and politics in the game to cricketers' fragile egos and boiling emotions.

Inside Edge 3 promises a racy watch with Richa Chadha, Vivek Oberoi, Aamir Bashir, Tanuj Virwani, Sayani Gupta, and Sapna Pabbi, among others. Expect a lot of fireworks this season, especially with the much-hyped India-Pakistan cricket match tossed to the mix.
Before you stream the new season Inside Edge 3, here’s a recap of the previous two episodes.
Inside Edge season 1
The show begins with the 'Power Play T-20 League,' which is modelled on the Indian Premier League. The Mumbai Mavericks and its co-owner Zarina Malik (Richa Chadha), who is also a Bollywood star, are introduced. The squad is led by Arvind Vashisht (Angad Bedi), although Vayu Raghavan is the standout player (Tanuj Virwani). Dialogues such as "cricketers are god in India" can give you an idea of how the sport is viewed in India.
Vikrant Dhawan (Vivek Oberoi), a banker, tarnishes the game's essence by adding spot-fixing. A few rebel, others salivate over the large sums of money, and a few are forced into keeping their lips sealed. This season of the show also features murder, caste, and gender violence.
The first season concludes on a suspenseful note. Meanwhile, Bhaisaab, a puppet master, is heard more than he is.
Inside Edge season 2
Season 2's biggest bombshell is bhaisaab (Aamir Bashir). President of the Indian Cricket Board and originator of the Power Play League is Yashvardhan Patil. Patil, a guy desperate for power, will go to any mile to obtain it. We all see Zarina rise as she catches his gaze. Until Patil's daughter Mantra (Sapna Pabbi) comes, she returns to filmmaking and has greater influence over Mumbai Mavericks.
Meanwhile, Vikrant is on the hunt for Bhaisaab and Zarina. He plots his strategy and assaults his targets, knocking them out. Things get murkier as match-fixing becomes a part of the game. Mantra also finds love in the tumultuous Vayu, who has moved on from his rash past. Arvind joins a new team after having his heart shattered by Zarina, and Rohini's devotion is split between the Mumbai Mavericks and him. Prashant is suffering from PTSD, which is impacting his game.
Bhaisaab has his daughter and lover jailed for his misdeeds as Vikrant threatens to take over the reigns. He wins the cricket board election for the second time, but will the wounded ladies allow him enjoy the spoils?
Inside Edge season 3
Inside Edge 3 takes off where the previous season left off. We return to our characters' lavish hotel rooms, private aircraft, and gleaming workplaces. It's a dog eat dog world this time, as Bhaisaab (Aamir Bashir), Vikrant Dhawan (Vivek Oberoi), and Zarina Mallik go to great lengths to cross each other.
This season employs time travel to record all of the main characters' lives as teenagers while also revealing some terrible past mysteries.
None of them, on the other hand, realise they are only pawns in a game that will become much more irritating when someone quietly pulls the strings and flips things around for personal advantage.
Dhawan is stronger than in Seasons 1&2 and desires vengeance on Bhaisahaab. Vivek Oberoi plays a man who would go to any length to obtain what he wants this time. Aamir Bashir is convincing as Yashvardhan Patil, a power-hungry man. On the other side, his emotional scenes with his daughter Mantra are a touch too dramatic. Richa Chadha takes every attempt to bring her opponents' and the audience's attention to herself.
Apart from her romance with Vayu, Mantra takes a bigger and better role in the fight to make betting legal in India this season.
'Inside Edge 3', like prior seasons in the franchise, has more to offer than just the highs and lows of cricket matches. If you've already spent time viewing the first two seasons, you won't want to miss the third.
