One of the India's most controversial cases now took an interesting turn after Rhea Chakraborty's Interview. In the death of Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, the actress featured in an interview alongside journalist Rajdeep Sardesai. The interview received a good response from a certain section of netizens. They even trended #JusticeforRhea on Twitter.
Actress Manchu Lakshmi came in support of Rhea Chakraborty and stated, “I’m standing up for my colleague.”
she said,“If something like this happened to me I would want my colleagues to stand up for me at least the ones that know me to say back off hang on leave her alone and I ask all of you to do the same back off hang on leave her alone until the entire truth is officially released.”
After South actress Lakshmi Manchu tweeted in support of Rhea and requested her colleagues to stand for the accused actress, it's Taapsee Pannu who tweeted and asked people to not overtake judiciary to "convict someone who isn’t proven guilty".
Sharing Lakshmi Manchu's tweet, Taapsee Pannu wrote, "I didn’t know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea but what I know is, it only takes to be a human to understand how wrong it is to overtake judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the deceased’s sanctity (sic)."
Hina Khan is one of the most popular faces of Indian television also gave ger support to Rhea by saying," At least, let the CBI investigate and come to a conclusion. You may damage her career forever with accusations. She might not be able to face anyone."
Adding further, she said that they are all fighting for the right cause- Justice for Sushant- but it doesn’t have to be this way. She said that for the last few weeks, all that every channel talks about is the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death investigation. According to her, the media should have a balanced view.
Ram Gopal Verma also shared his tweet in support of Rhea.
