This Wednesday is bringing happiness to investors all over the nation as the Indian stock markets seem to be under the care of bulls after excruciating last few trading sessions.
Nifty 50, the benchmark of large capitalisation companies in India, has finally held above 15,000 for the large part of the trading day.
Nifty 50 is up by 0.52%, Midcap 50 is up by 0.74%, and Smallcap 50 is up the most of these three with being up by 1.39%.
Now, let’s talk about sector performance at the time of writing.
IT, Metal, and Pharma stocks are spearheading the rise with these indices being up by 1.98%, 1.42%, and 1.26% respectively.
There is no sector in red today with the biggest laggard sector in green by 0.20% which is Financial Services.
From the stocks in NIFTY 500, SWSOLAR is the highest gainer with 14.58% change from previous trading day close and the highest loser is MAHSEAMLES which is down by 4.07%.
From the stocks in NIFTY 50, EICHERMOT is the highest gainer up by 3.04% and SBILIFE is the biggest loser down by 2.27%.
The question now remains to be seen whether this performance by the bulls will be sustained in the future.
