Apple is expected to launch its next-generation iPhone at the Apple Event 2024, scheduled for September 9. At the event, the Cupertino-based company is anticipated to announce the iPhone 16 in four iterations: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Max. Although the company has not revealed anything about the upcoming devices, the internet is flooded with reports detailing the iPhone 16's price and features.

At the WWDC 2024, Apple brought the AI features to the front row. It said that the new iPhone 16 will bring an improved Siri, deeply integrated with AI. Beyond Siri, AI is seamlessly integrated into various apps. The Messages and Mail apps now leverage AI to suggest appropriate responses, summarise lengthy threads, and compose emails in different tones. The Photos app benefits from AI-powered features like object removal and enhanced search capabilities. 

Apple iPhone 16 specifications

The Apple iPhone 16 is expected to come with a 6.1-inch display, while the Plus variant may feature a slightly larger 6.7-inch display. The Pro and Max versions may offer 6.3 and 6.9-inch displays, respectively. The Pro and Pro Max models' screens are expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate.

Similarly, the battery sizes are expected to vary across the models: the iPhone 16 may have a 3561mAh battery, the Plus 4006mAh, the Pro 3355mAh, and the Pro Max 4676mAh.

Earlier reports indicated that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus may have a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 2x optical zoom, while the Pro series is expected to feature a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The iPhone 16 Pro models are likely to be powered by the A18 Pro chipset, while the base variants may come with the A17 chipset.
