After tottering in first 12 overs, Chennai Super Kings were taken to a safe total of 175 runs thanks to MS Dhoni's solid knock of 75 runs off 46 balls. Dhoni hit 4 fours and 4 sixes in his solid innings.
Jofra Archer was the pick of the bowlers picking up 2 wickets and giving away just 17 runs in his quota of 4 overs.
Suresh Raina also played a good knock of 36 runs before falling.
"Honestly it has been the worst conditions I have bowled in. It is very very hard and challenging with the amount of dew. The ball has been wet for 8-9 overs the seam is slimy and then the new hard ball went the distance. We played here yesterday and there was a lot more dew, but there is still a lot of dew getting onto the ball. It is very hard to bowl yorker and to bowl full. I have experienced such conditions once in Bangladesh, but no, I haven't trained for conditions like these," said Jofra Archer in innings break.
Rajasthan are out for chase in the middle.
