IPL 2019, Yuvraj Singh, Mumbai Indians, Sachin Tendulkar- True Scoop

Yuvraj Singh made a majestic debut for Mumbai Indians as he is known as the 'prince of cricket' scoring 53 runs off 35 deliveries against a strong Delhi bowling line-up. Yuvraj held the innings from one end but wickets kept tumbling from the other end and ultimately fell to a slower ball towards the end of the innings.

In the post match press conference, Yuvraj spoke about his debut from a new team Mumbai Indians, his innings, his future prospects, his retirement plans and of course the star of the match- Rishabh Pant.

"I can't say about selection but Rishabh was outstanding today. He had an outstanding season last year. He is playing well in Test matches as well. To score (two centuries) overseas at such an age shows his character. It is important we groom him well and hope he is the next big thing for us," he said about Rishabh Pant.

On being asked about his retirement, the southpaw said that he was enjoying his game as he is still hitting the ball well and will keep playing cricket till he is enjoying the game.

"When the time comes, I will be the first one to hang up my boots. I spoke to Sachin (Tendulkar) as well and he has gone through such a time at 38-39. Talking to him makes things easier for me. In the last two years, I have been up and down. I started playing cricket because I enjoyed the game and then I was not playing for Indian. It was U-14, U-16, so till the time I enjoy, I will play," said the Mumbai Indians all-rounder.
