Making sports career highly illustrious, former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is playing his 200th match as a captain of the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League history against Rajasthan Royals on Monday.
Today marks the 13th match of IPL 2021, which is underway between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
In total Dhoni has played 207 matches in the IPL featuring for CSK in the league and Champions League T20. Last week, Dhoni played his 200th match as a captain in the IPL against Punjab Kings.
Notably, for the 2012 Champions League T20, Suresh Raina had lead CSK in the league.

MS Dhoni has also been captain of the Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) for 30 IPL matches in 2016-17 when CSK was barred for two years to take part in the tournament.
Under the captaincy of former Indian cricket team captain, CSK has won three IPL titles. The 39-year old cricketer is presently at the eighth position in the list of most run achievers in IPL with 4,632 runs.
Meanwhile, Sanju Samson led RR has won the toss for April 19th match and has opted to field first against CSK. At the time of writing, CSK scored 125/5 in 14.0 overs.
