Players from both teams have joined their respective Indian Premier League (IPL) squads in the United Arab Emirates and are presently in isolation for six days following the cancellation of the fifth Test match between England and India in Manchester. Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah are among the India players quarantining in Abu Dhabi ahead of the revival of the Indian Premier League in 2021. On Wednesday, a Mumbai-based franchise, shared a photo on social media featuring Bumrah and Suryakumar catching up from their respective balconies.

Following his match-winning performance during the Sri Lanka tour, Suryakumar was named to the Indian side for the next T20 World Cup in Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
With four victories and eight points in seven games, the Mumbai Indians are now fourth in the points table. When the season begins in the UAE on September 19, the reigning champions will face Chennai Super Kings.
