In the third match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The toss for today's match was won by SRH and its skipper David Warner decided to field first against KKR.
KKR has set a run target of 188 for SRH and the latter is striving to beat the score. Chasing the target, SRH has lost its openers in mere three overs. Initially, David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha came out in the field to kick start the match.
However, Warner could not stay for much longer as Prasidh Krishna takes him off the field. It was a big blow to SRH as Dinesh Karthik took an easy catch behind the stumps to remove Warner for 3. Later Saha was also removed by Shakib al Hasan for 7.

The team saw a little revival when Bairstow came in the middle to play and he broke shackles by hitting an air-shot (six). By the third wicket of SRH was lost, both Manish Pandey and Bairstow had added 30 runs to chase the score. Apparently, the duo had shared a 50-run stand.
In 10 overs, SRH Pandey and Bairstow added 67 runs off 47 deliveries.
Shortly after moving past his 6th IPL fifty, Jonny Biarstow had to depart for 55. Notably, Cummins broke the 92-run stand between Bairstow and Pandey.
