After defeating defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) by two wickets in Chennai, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) made an incredible start to the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL). The game was a nail-biter all the way down to the final ball.
The opening batting pair of David Warner and Johnny Bairstow had several fruitful partnerships for Hyderabad in last year's IPL, but this year Wriddhiman Saha has been promoted up the order as an opener after some strong innings the previous season.
In SRH's most recent match, Johnny Bairstow was ranked fourth. In today's match, however, Bairstow and Warner will almost certainly open the innings for Hyderabad.
Devdutt Padikkal could return to Royal Challengers Bangalore as the team's opener. Since he was still recovering from Coronavirus, the star player was rested in the previous match.
Captain Virat Kohli and Washington Sundar opened for RCB in Padikkal's absence, but they were unsuccessful.
In comparison to Hyderabad, Bangalore's spin department is lacking. Yuzvendra Chahal, the RCB's star spinner, is currently out of shape, and his team will need him to bounce back in today's game. Chahal failed to take a single wicket in his most recent match against Mumbai, and he also conceded 41 runs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad's probable playing XI- David Warner(captain), Johnny Bairstow (wicketkeeper), Manish Pandey, Priyam Garg, Vijay Shankar, Abdul Samad, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, T Natarajan, Sandeep Sharma and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Royal Challengers Bangalore's probable playing XI- Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli (captain), Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers (wicketkeeper), Daniel Christian, Kyle Jamieson, Washington Sundar, Harshal Patel, Mohammad Siraj and Yuzvendra Chahal.
